The Role

Leading a high-performance cross-functional team that includes engineering & product design, you will own an entire product area with responsibility for working closely with our core customers and ultimately driving the strategy, go to market, execution and ultimately owning the P&L for your product area.

  • Establish rapport with customers and your team and the right level of process to build understanding, context, and agreement around priorities and possible solutions.  
  • Work closely with customer success and directly with customers to understand their jobs, processes, problems and goals.  Develop a comprehensive understanding of the problems and opportunities.
  • Deliver value constantly, validate that value with customers, discover opportunities to refine and improve value over time.
  • Empower go to market teams, including sales, marketing, and customer success with product marketing, training, and more to ensure they have everything they require to understand and communicate the value of your product area.
  • Participate in senior leadership processes, including bi-annual offsites to collaborate and shape the future direction and vision and strategy of SensorUp.

Your Experience
  • 5+ years of leading cross functional teams in a product management context.
  • Knowledge of carbon accounting or methane emission markets and challenges.
  • Comprehensive product leadership skills which encompasses vision and strategy, execution and go to market.
  • Excellent customer management experience including leading regular customer meetings, user research interviews and more.
  • Demonstrated product management best practices.
  • An interest in solving complex problems relating to reducing carbon emissions in the energy sector.  
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Creativity to find solutions and difficult compromises balancing the problems, the pace, and the customer experience.
  • Possess an understanding and desire to learn more regarding engineering, product design, marketing, and product management processes.
