The Role

SensorUp is seeking an exceptional Senior/Staff Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our Engineering team. This unique position offers the opportunity to leverage your skills to establish the technical roadmap for a critical, pioneering product stream. You will be responsible for the complete software development lifecycle encompassing design, development, and implementation of the full-stack solution. As a leader, you will also serve as a coach, mentoring and guiding a cross-functional team of engineers and fostering close collaboration with both the customer and product team.

  • Spearhead the design anddevelopment of a groundbreaking product from concept to launch 
  •  Foster a collaborative environmentby working collaboratively in a cross-functional triad with product managementand design to ensure product alignment with business goals and user needs
  • Embrace the player-coach role,activity contributing to the technical development process while providingguidance and mentorship to your engineering team
  • Serve as the technical authority,including making strategic decisions about the technology stack, implementingindustry best practices, and staying abreast of the latest advancements withthe goal of innovation and efficiency
  • Establish with your collaborators a robustfeedback loop with the customer, activity soliciting and incorporating userfeedback to drive continuous improvement in functionality and user experience
Your Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent work experience and 5+ years of Senior or higher work experience
  •  Led the design, development, testing, and maintenance of accounting solutions ensuring accuracy and secure processing of transactions for industries like energy, financial, healthcare, etc.
  • Extensive experience with databases, both relational and non-relational data storage tools (DynamoDb, S3,DuckDb)
  • Designed and implemented highly available and scalable event driven services in the cloud (AWS)
  • Experience with domain driven design and federated GraphQL API
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate ideas, expectations, and feedback to team members, stakeholders, and customers
  • Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring a cross-functional engineering team
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and familiarity with modern team organizational frameworks
